The newspaper O País from Angola stand out an article releasing information about Paulo Malo interest on investing in Africa.
The opening of a Malo Clinic in Luanda depends on the concretization of a partnership with a group already established in the local market. “The project can follow two different ways: we can build ourselves the structure, meaning two years of work, or we can sign a partnership with a group already established, and in this case, we can expect to do it in a few months” explains the President of Malo Clinic.

MALO CLINIC is projecting in Luanda the biggest clinic/hospital of the African continent. A project that grows side by side with a $M35 investment unit that is being built in São Tomé e Príncipe, but with much higher ambitions.

The global financial crisis does not appear to have affected the Malo Group. The Portuguese “oral rehabilitation” company has its Macau unit under construction at the Venetian. It says it wants to open clinics or spas in among other places, Brazil, China, United States, Italy, Israel, Japan, Morocco, Portugal and São Tomé e Principe. Company Chief Executive Officer and President Paulo Malo, president and CEO of the Malo Group says they hope to open four more clinics in Africa, USA and Europe in the next two years.

He started by helping his father, a farmer, carrying water in a truck in the farm. He was a model, diver, and ice shop and restaurant waiter.
